Tell us about your experience at Kleinfeld!
I’ve always been a fan of the show Say Yes to the Dress and couldn’t wait to see Kleinfeld in person. Last year, I was unfortunately too sick from treatment to make the trip. So this year when I came back to NYC, I was so happy to actually get the chance to go. When I first walked into Kleinfeld, I was so excited to see a bride and her family being filmed for the show! My consultant, Lisa Fuhrman, took me back to a dressing room and I told her about being on the lookout for a dress because I was nominated for homecoming court. Next thing I know Lisa pulled about 6 of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen in my life to try on!
How did you decide on the dress you wore?
Every dress I tried on was amazing, but I did have two favorites. After trying on both dresses again, I knew which one I was completely in love with. This dress fit my personality and I didn’t want to take it off. It was such an honor to say yes to the dress.
Okay now we need the details of the dress…What did you wear?
The dress I chose was designed by Hayley Paige, and to me it resembled a fairy princess dress. It was a blush colored halter, with sequined flowers above the waist, and a mix of blush, white and grey tulle below the waist. Absolutely stunning.
How did you feel in your Kleinfeld dress at homecoming?
This was the most perfect dress to wear for my senior year Homecoming Court. I was escorted out on the football field by my Dad, I felt so special wearing this dress. When they announced Homecoming Queen, I was so surprised to hear my name called, it brought tears to my eyes. That’s when I received the perfect accessory to my dress- a crown. It was a night I will never forget!
