Sophisticated Weddings Party at Kleinfeld

April 14, 2017 Kleinfeld Unveiled

A few months ago, Sophisticated Weddings approached us about throwing a party to celebrate the start of wedding season at Kleinfeld. We were excited about the opportunity and last week the event came to life! Our team along with Diana Gould LTD, transformed the bridal salon into the perfect party space with lounge furniture, incredible lighting, flowers and more! The salon even had a custom bar and plenty of dancing room. See some of the highlights (and the vendors who made it happen) below!

Soulsystem Orchestras brought down the house with their energy and killer vocalists. The dance floor was packed all night.

DJ David Chang kept the music going as guests arrived and read the decorative menus provided by Fancy That Invitations. After the band completed their set, DJ David Chang moved the party from the main salon to the lobby and we danced *all* night long!

Dish Events & Catering took guests to hors d’oeuvres heaven with appetizers like their Butter Poached Lobster Toast. They even provided vegan-friendly options!

Everyone loves a diamond ring selfie and Greenwich St. Jewelers let guests capture the sparkle at their unique “Ring Selfie Station.”

Every party needs a photo booth and this photo booth by Shake & Share Media actually lets you see yourself before the flash goes off.

Mini Melanie had a dessert station set-up complete with wedding cakes and truffles that were delicious and almost too pretty to eat.

What’s better than making your own mini-donuts…? Decorating them! The Glazed and Confused crew prepared fresh donuts in the salon as guests sprinkled toppings to their hearts’ content.

These pastel macaroons by Le Maison du Macaron looked absolutely magical (and tasted like it too). Guests were even able to take home adorable pre-packaged boxes!

And every industry event needs a goodie bag! Guests left with their very own reusable Bloomingdales tote stuffed with fun favors.

The Kleinfeld team had just as much fun as the guests— we can’t wait till next time! View more photos of the event here.

Wedding Emojis by Hayley Paige Are Here!

February 15, 2017 Kleinfeld Unveiled

BIG news! Designer Hayley Paige  just released the first wedding-focused emoji app called Holy Matrimoji. Hayley Paige saw that brides want to communicate with their bffs during every step of the wedding process, but couldn’t always find the right words to describe their feelings. However, with wedding-focused emojis & stickers — brides can express themselves easily during every situation.

Since Hayley Paige was recently a bride herself — she understands the emotional state of all brides and their friends during the wedding planning process. Drawing inspiration from her own experience as a bride, she personally hand-drew every single sticker and frame of animation herself!

Holy Matrimoji is basically a gift from above for all brides-to-be and their friends. Trust us when we say, you’ll want to download it today!

5 Tips to Seating Charts During the Holiday Season

December 7, 2016 Kleinfeld Unveiled

It’s officially December, which means holiday parties galore! Add an engagement during the holiday season and this time of year just got *that* much more magical! If it’s your first time hosting a holiday party, you’ll need to know how to handle a seating chart and Sandy Hammer, Co-Founder of AllSeated is here to guide you to a no-stress seating chart this holiday season!

 1. Assign tables not seats, for a laid-back feel

For any event with over 20 attendees and a plated dinner, we recommend having some type of seating arrangement. If you’re striving for a laid-back, casual feel we suggest assigning tables – not seats to guests. This will help guarantee that couples will sit together (even if they arrive late) and will help keep guests at ease.

2. Formal Is Fun Too

If you want your holiday party to feel a bit more formal, we suggest assigning guests to a specific table & seat. AllSeated offers you the perfect tools to make this process easy and pain-free.

Simply enter your guests in the guest list section of your AllSeated account. From here, you’ll be able to select the exact sized tables that you’re using from the furniture library and be able to create the most accurate floor plan & seating chart possible.

Pro tip: With AllSeated, you’ll be able to even view this floor plan in 3D!

3. Think About The Kids

Kids-only tables help children feel special and welcome at any party! When you double the ‘kids table’ as an art station – we guarantee that the kids will be entertained all night. We suggest putting a white paper tablecloth down and suggest filling a few tin cans with crayons. Hand kids a themed placemat, which they could color during dinner and take home at the end of the night! You could also add foam stickers for a 3D element!

4. Make Your Rounds as a Couple

Since you’ll be hosting this holiday party as a couple, make it a point to mingle with each of your guest. If you’re having a formal seating chart, consider moving tables for each course. This way you’ll be able to spend time with all of your guests! We also suggest round tables as they help conversation flow between guests!

5. Mingle Your Families Through Seating

Family dynamics can be complicated at holiday parties, so we suggest blending families throughout the seating chart so they have the opportunity to get to know one another and other guests.

If your wedding day is quickly approaching, it may be nice to have your friends and family meet and get to know each other over the holiday season first.
