After you’ve said Yes to the Dress, it’s time to start thinking about accessories. And, let’s be honest, with designers like Badgley MischkaPnina Tornai and Jimmy Choo making show-stopping stilettos and bedazzled bridal pumps, you’ve probably already started pinning your favorites! We have a few tips for you to make sure that you’re choosing exactly the right look to complete your bridal outfit.

1. Style is everything.

The styles and looks of bridal shoes are endless! (That’s why we love them so much.) With a sky-high stiletto, a cute kitten heel or whimsical wedges, you really can’t go wrong. Do a little bit of research on every style so you know exactly what you are looking for.

2. Comfort is KEY.

Your wedding day will be the most magical day of your life. But, if you have to spend the whole day readjusting your pumps, worrying about your smushed toes or scuffed up ankles, well, that’s not a fun distraction! Make sure you try the shoes on before your celebration. Strut your stuff at home to make sure you’ll be comfortable and ready to walk down the aisle.

3. Match Your Accessories.

Lots of brides like to choose shoes that match their wedding dress, venue or theme. And, that makes total sense to us! If you’re going to for a 1920s vibe, try a bridal Mary Jane. If you’re rocking a blinged-out dress, try something sparkly!

4. Or, don’t!

On the other hand, matching doesn’t matter all that much! We love to see a pop of color underneath a classic white gown, or some seriously adorable floral design. What a cute little surprise for wedding photos! P.S. You can wear and re-wear your fun, funky shoes whenever you please.

5. Shoes Are Fabulous.

Shoes are shoes. They are perfect. They are MAGIC. Honestly, you can’t go wrong! Go with your instincts, and your bridal look is sure to be a perfect match.
